The Charles Hotel lies in the heart of Mala Strana district
(Lesser Side) in Prague, the capital of the Czech
Republic. It is only a few steps away from famous Charles Bridge
and Malostranske Square.
The beautifully restored building dates back to the Middle Ages. It
is easily reachable by public transport
and just a short walk away from Prague's most impressive sights,
including Prague Castle, the Royal Gardens, St Nicholas Church, Old
Town Square, the Jewish Quarter and Petrin Hill.

Map & Directions
Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, lies on the
banks of the River Vltava. The various tourist attractions can be
easily reached via the city’s metro and tram network.
Arrival by car :
Arriving via motorway D8, drive into Prague on the main road.
Cross the River Vltava taking Most Barikádníku Bridge. On the
other river bank, turn left onto Bubenské nabr. Follow the
river for about 2 km. At the end of the road, turn right and just
afterwards turn left onto Valdstejnska. After about 600 m,
turn left. Then take the first street to your right, called
Josefskà. The hotel is located on this street.
Arriving via motorway D5, take exit no. 1-Tfebonice in
order to rejoin the ring road 1/E48 in the direction of
Slivenec. Drive into Prague following ChomutovKarlovy
Vary / PlzenStrakonice. Continue on the road that borders the
river until you reach Jiráskùv Most Bridge. Turn left and
then take the second street to your right, called Preslova.
Continue straight ahead until reaching Kostel Svateho
Mikulase (St Nicholas Church). Turn right. The hotel is located
on the left, 50 m down the street.
Arrival by train : Prague-Hlavní nádrazí railway station is 4,5 km from our
hotel away. At the station, you can take tram no. 9 to Jiudrisska
stop and change to tram no. 91. Get off at Molostranké mamesti stop.
The hotel is located on Josefskà Street, 50 m away.
Arrival by airplane : Prague Airport is 15 km from the hotel away.
By public transport : take bus no. 119 or no. 254 to Dejvická stop
and change to the A line of Prague Metro. Get off at Malostranská
station. Continue by tram no. 12, 20, 22 or 91 and get off at
Molostranké mamesti stop. It is also possible to take one of the
CEDAZ busses to said metro station.
