South-facing rooms offer a magnificent view of the lake and the famous mountain peaks of the Bernese Oberland. Some of them feature a small balcony or give direct access to the terrace. All rooms provide shower/WC, hair dryer, radio, telephone and cable TV.

Rooted in our genuine belief in the power and energy of plants, our region’s produce have a place of honour in our restaurant. One of our favourite spare-time activities is collecting wild plants, herbs and mushrooms. They inspire us new creations for a unique gastronomic experience.

The chef Walter Maurer honors the regional products. He passionately picks wild plants, herbs and mushrooms to propose new creations and offer unique experiences to his guests. 14 points Gault Millau.

Arrival by car :
Join motorway A8 (from Berne/Thun by motorway A6) and take exit nr 19-Spiez and follow direction Spiez/Faulensee. After about 600 m pass under the railway tracks and in the following roundabout turn right, direction Zentrum (center). After 800 m in the roundabout take the 3rd exit direction Schloss (castle). The hotel is situated on the right side after 70 m.

Arrival by public transports :
The train station of Spiez lies on the Basle- or Zurich-Berne-Thun- Spiez-Interlaken or Lötschberg-Brig Intercity Line. From the station take left, the Seestrasse which goes down until a roundabout. Cross the roundabout slightly right and continue for 70 m on Seestrasse. The Hotel is on the right side and the walking time is about 4 minutes.
